KPK lifeline of Pakistan, Islamabad should not do step motherly treatment: Ch Shujat Hussain

Lahore/Peshawar: 29-01-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah is lifeline of Pakistan but Islamabad is treating it step-motherly.
Saluting brave, courageous and patriotic people of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah, he said that border of this province is with Afghanistan with which peace of Pakistan is linked, if situation in Afghanistan improves only then there will be peace here also.
He said this while talking to media after offering condolence with Awami National Party’s Senior Leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilour over demise of his wife in Peshawar today.
Responding to a question about fighting between N-League and Peoples Party, he said that individual fights keep taking place but nothing should happen which should cause harm to the country. He further said “I know Ch Nisar Ali Khan for years, he has also worked with me, whatever is in his heart he says it bluntly, irrespective of someone likes it or not”. He said N-League and Peoples Party are fighting today and they will be one tomorrow.
About closure of schools in Punjab, the former prime minister said that this has created fear, in the name security such measures should not be taken which effect minds of the children. In response to another question, he said that National Action Plan should also be implemented in Punjab and hopefully operation will start soon in the province. #
