Panama Leaks: Not an issue of accountability of people, allegation has been levelled against PM Nawaz Sharif, Ch Shujat Hussain

Islamabad/Lahore: 26-04-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that Panama Leaks is not an issue of accountability of the people, in it allegation has been levelled against Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif and his family.

Responding to various questions from the media, Ch Shujat Hussain said that since the allegation is against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family as such he should present himself and if acquitted then he will remain the prime minister.

On a question about started accountability process from 1947, Ch Shujat Hussain said that this is a matter to be looked into afterwards and this can happen that the process of accountability is started from 2016 and taken to 1947 but this is a separate issue, particular allegation levelled in Panama Leaks morally will have to be answered by the prime minister. #
