Farmers want full price for crop and more income than expenses not mere cheerful announcements: Ch Parvez Elahi

Employees, workers and other sectors will be hit hard afresh by new budget, during our tenure 50 per cent concession was on agricultural tube-well in Punjab


Islamabad/Lahore: 03-06-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi while commenting on tall claims about agriculture in the federal has said that the farmers do not want merely cheerful announcement but full price for their crops and reasonable income in return for heavy expenditures incurred on cultivation of crops.

 Ch Parvez Elahi said during our govt in Punjab, besides other incentives and facilities in agriculture sector, 50 per cent concession was given in electricity bills for agricultural tube-wells.

He said further while responding to questions from the media about the federal budget for next financial year that employees, workers, workers and people of other sectors will also get nothing and they will be hit hard afresh with the new budget.

He said neither there is any possibility of reduction in price hike and unemployment through budgetary measures nor load shedding of electricity and energy crisis will decrease. #
