Souls of Model Town martyrs calling for justice for last two years: Ch Parvez Elahi

PML fully participates in sit-in, blood of the martyrs will not go waste, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Kamil Ali Agha, Basharat Raja

Lahore: 17-06-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said two years have elapsed since Model Town tragedy occurred but no headway made regarding punishing the killers and the souls of the martyrs are calling for justice, we are with the oppressed, PML whether in power or in opposition has always stood with the poor, oppressed and suppressed and worked for their welfare and suffered political deficit also but we cannot end our this mission.

For participation in the sit-in of Pakistan Awami Tehrik against Model Town tragedy PML workers started from the Muslim League House in a big procession under leadership of MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Muhammad Basharat Raja and other leaders. They were chanting slogans enthusiastically.

PML leaders said that Ch Parvez Elahi was the first political leader to reach Minhajul Quran after bloodshed and consoled Tehrik workers putting his hands on their heads, PML stands with them even today and will be with them till they get justice, due to tactics being resorted to by the rulers after breaking the law and then saving themselves lawlessness, bloodshed and violence and heinous crime graph is rising in the Punjab with every passing day because nobody is afraid of punishment.

PML workers further said that most regrettable thing is that even after all accused were named in the FIR and those responsible were mentioned in the Judicial Inquiry Report of honourable judge of the Lahore High Court, real culprits could not be pinpointed which the clear proof the ill-intention of the rulers. They said whatever the killers and responsible elements may do to save themselves, they will have to account for their doings because blood of the martyrs never goes waste and will be fruitful sooner or later, those responsible for this tragedy should not forget that after this world a court will also be set up on Day of Judgment where hands of the martyrs will be on their necks. #
