Action of those talking about freedom of press is contrary to that: Ch Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi

Ban on Dr Shahid Masood has exposed Nawaz Sharif’s democracy and enmity with journalists

Lahore: 11-08-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi have said action of those talking about freedom of press is contrary to that ban on Dr Shahid Masood has so called democracy and freedom of press of Nawaz Sharif.

In a statement, they said though they talk about freedom of press in the country but their every act is contrary to freedom of press. Dr Shahid Masood has his hands on the pulse of the people and he performs his journalistic duties very honestly, ban on him has expose enmity of Nawaz Sharif with journalists and freedom of press. #
