Ch Shujat Hussain and Parvez Elahi condemn attacks on ARY and other media houses

Protection of journalists and media workers life and property and offices responsibility of the rulers which should be fulfilled in every circumstance

Lahore: 22-08-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have condemned attacks on ARY and other media houses in Karachi in very strong words.

In a joint statement here this evening, they said this is a unique and highly deplorable incident in the history of Pakistan the media houses have been targeted in this manner.

They said protection of life and property of journalists and media workers and TV channels and newspapers offices is the duty of the rulers which must be fulfilled in every circumstance, nobody should show negligence and lethargy in this regard and immediate and effective action should be taken in any such situation. #
