Pledge to offer every sacrifice for Pakistan also: Ch Shujat Hussain, Parvez Elahi, Moonis Elahi

Remember not only Sunnah-e-Ibrahim and last Hajj sermon of the Holy Prophet but also the poor and destitute in Eid celebrations: messages

Lahore: 12-09-2016: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have said that last Hajj sermon of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) is the beacon light for the Muslims in every era, pledge not to refrain from offering every sacrifice for Pakistan along with performing Sunnah-e-Ibrahim, in Eid celebrations we should also remember families of martyrs who laid down their lives for the motherland, poor, destitute and other deserving people.

In their messages of felicitations, the PML leaders extended heartfelt greetings to the pilgrims on performing Hajj and said that we are fortunate that Almighty Allah has again provided us the opportunity to offer animals sacrifice in obedience to Sunnah-e-Ibrahim in a free and sovereign country whereas in neighboring country India in some areas the Muslims are not allowed to offer sacrifice of cow even.

They said that the lesson which the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) gave in his first and last Hajj sermon is a message for riddance not only for the Muslims but entire mankind, today while we pledge not to miss practicing the teachings of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) we should also pledge not to refrain from offering any sacrifice for defending security and solidarity, prosperity and development of this God-gifted land of ours called Pakistan, we should solemnly pray to Almighty Allah to enable us to make Pakistan haven of peace and prosperity and transform it into such an Islamic welfare state which should be centre of guidance for the entire world rather than criticism and satire. They prayed that Almighty Allah bless us all with uprightness and success in this world and hereinafter, Ameen. #
