Lahore: 24-04-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain exchanged views with Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq regarding basic reasons for the grand alliance at Mansoora.
Ch Shujat Hussain said till Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is holding the office of PM JIT cannot function effectively nor carry out investigation process in an impartial manner.
Jamaat-e-Islami leaders agreed with the stance of Ch Shujat Hussain and said that we are also moving ahead within our party with these views and maintaining joint stance we will cooperate with you and announced to nominate two representatives Liaquat Baloch and Mian Maqsood on the four parties alliance already establish committee on Panama issue.
Talking to media afterwards, Ch Shujat Hussain said some people are saying that two judges gave dissenting note whereas all the five judges have said that Nawaz Sharif is no longer Sadiq and Amee. He disclosed that Zafar Ali Shah had advised the PM that the Supreme Court verdict is against him as such he should not address the nation. Ch Shujat Hussain said that all opposition parties will have to unite on one point against the government. He expressed the hope that Nawaz Sharif will resign soon.
Ch Shujat Hussain said that our relations with Jamaat-e-Islami are not of today but are from the days of Mian Tufail Mohammad.
He said false news against us about getting loans written off was published in Guardian which we challenged through our counsel Ejaz Batalvi in a London court and won the case, on the court order Guardian newspaper had published apology on the front page and also paid entire expenses.
Welcoming Ch Shujat Hussain and his delegation in Mansoora, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq while talking to the media said that the prime minister will have to go, line of action will be determined after consultation with Majlis-e-Shura regarding four parties alliance although our demands are same as of theirs, working relationship will be established and decisions will be taken after mutual consultation, after the verdict of the Supreme Court for working freely through the commission it is necessary that the prime minister should resign, learned judges had announced openly given very clear decision under Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
In reply to a question, he said that two judges had declared the prime minister guilty whereas three judges termed him as accused, as such all the five judges had written the history by declaring Nawaz Sharif accused, Nawaz Sharif should resign and if he is proved innocent then he may come again.
On this occasion Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Ahmad Raza, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Ameerul Azeem, Farid Piracha, Hafiz Idrees, Mian Maqsood, Asad Abbas and other leaders were also present. #
