Lahore: 28-05-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has termed the last federal budget of the rulers also as cheating and fraud and said that for buying election Rs 1000 billion have been allocated for N-Leaguers in the name of development funds, after announcing Rs 341 billion Kissan package only Rs 20 billion were released that too were swallowed by N-Leaguers and patwaris, for pleasing Modi Indian farmers are being made prosperous and our farmers miserable, only Rs 12 billion for drinking water whereas Rs 21 billion have been allocated for lap tops, performance is zero but still both the brothers are heroes, singing “Tair-e-Lahooti” but they have drowned the country in debts.

Addressing a press conference along with party Secretary General and MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema at his residence here today (Sunday), Ch Parvez Elahi further said that no relief has been provided to the people, price hike 50 per cent but salary only increased 10 per cent, Ishaq Dar should make domestic budget in Rs 15 thousand, rulers promise of Rs 18 thousand salary for workers also turned out to be a lie. He said the rulers should stop oppression on the farmers, in the house they talk about Kissan package and outside they baton charge.

Continuing Ch Parvez Elahi said that the defence budget has not been increased but reduced, in 2008 during our tenure defence budget was 2.6 per cent of GDP which they have reduced to 1.7 per cent, Nawaz Sharif recite verse “Aey Tair-e-Lahooti Us Rizq Se Maut Achhi – Jis Rizq Se Aati Ho Parwaz Mein Kotahi” but foreign debt has touched record level of 171 billion dollars as compared to our tenure and every Pakistani is under debt of Rs one lakh 13 thousand.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that their “awam dosti” can well be judged from this that telephone calls have been made cheaper but not medicines, what is the benefit of abolishing “Parchi Fee” because neither there are doctors nor medicines in the hospitals.

He said the government claiming to end electricity load shedding has increased load shedding in Ramadan, shortfall even today is 7000 megawatt. He reiterated that the country will make progress only if Kalabagh dam is constructed, land was acquired for Bhasha dam during our tenure for Rs 70 billion but they have not put even one brick till now, only Rs 21 billion have been allocated in this budget whereas Kacchi Canal project was started during our tenure at a cost of Rs 30 billion and 50 per cent work had been completed by 2008 but due to their inefficiency now is cost has risen to Rs 80 billion.

In reply to a question, he said that both the brothers call each other hero though performance in every sector is just zero and zero, lap tops were purchased at a cost of Rs 200 billion whereas with establishing two factories with this amount how many jobs could be created, they have remembered Overseas Pakistanis now after four years. #
