Syed Amjad Hussain was Pakistan Movement’s Mujahid: Ch Shujat Hussain, Parvez Elahi

He was moving history of Pakistan, on direction of Allama Iqbal dedicated himself to the Quaid-i-Azam for Pakistan Movement

Lahore: 19-06-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow over demise of Syed Amjad Hussain, father of PML Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Syed Mowahid Shah and Syed Mujahid Hussain.

In a joint statement issued here tonight (Monday), the PML leaders said Syed Amjad Hussain was Pakistan Movement’s mujahid, he had great love for Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal, with his demise Pakistan has lost a great patriot and true Pakistani.

On hearing about demise of Syed Amjad Hussain Monday evening, Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi reached the residence of Mushahid Hussain Sayed for offering their condolence. They conveyed their condolence to the members of bereaved family and prayed that Almighty Allah may bless the departed soul. On this occasion, Ch Javed Elahi and Shafey Hussain were also present.

The PML leaders said that the late Syed Amjad Hussain was moving history of Pakistan Movement, he had associated himself with Pakistan Movement as a student, on direction of Allama Iqbal he had met the Quaid-i-Azam and dedicated himself for the Pakistan Movement. Syed Amjad Hussain participated in Lucknow meeting of Muslim League in 1937 as a student leader on the special invitation from the Quaid-i-Azam and he was also among the participants of historic meeting of Muslim League in 1940 In Minto Park Lahore in which Pakistan Resolution was adopted. #
