Many lives could have been saved if rulers had completed burn centers of our tenure

Lahore: 25-06-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow of death of large number of civilians in oil tanker tragedy in Bahawalpur and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

In a joint statement issued here Sunday, they said that only the bereaved families know the sorrow and grief of this tragedy on which hell has fallen a day before Eid, we equally share their sorrow and grief.

PML leaders contacted MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema on telephone and inquired about details of the tragedy and also directed him to remain in contact with the affectees and fully cooperate with them.

Regretting incompetency of the government, they said if this incompetent government had completed burn centers of our tenure in Multan and other areas of southern Punjab then many precious lives could have been saved.

They said that Shehbaz Sharif has no priority for health and hospitals because he wants only dollars making projects, wherever he goes pleases the people with verbal promises, he is not concerned and bothered about safeguarding life and property of the people and their welfare and well-being, result of which people are suffering in their loss like always.

The PML leaders further said that the funds, which he has wasted on jangla bus, were spent on up-gradation of the hospitals then the circumstances would have been quite different. #
