Objective of Nawaz Sharif’s anti-judiciary campaign is to influence NAB references: Ch Parvez Elahi

Instead of repeatedly saying “why ousted me” he should read Supreme Court verdict with Urdu translation, he will get answer to each of his question, Bar Councils should unite to take notice of N-League’s anti-judiciary campaign, talk with lawyers delegation

Lahore: 26-08-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that Nawaz Sharif’s campaign against Supreme Court verdict is deplorable, instead of repeatedly saying “mujhey kiyon nikala” (why ousted me) he should read apex court’s detailed judgment with Urdu translation, he will get answer to each of his question.

He said this while talking to a delegation of lawyers which called on him at his residence here today (Saturday).

Ch Parvez Elahi said that objective of Nawaz Sharif’s anti-judiciary campaign is to influence NAB references but his this attempt will not succeed because the entire nation and lawyers are standing with the Supreme Court and want to see decisions in NAB references within six months as in accordance with the order of the Supreme Court. He said that demand of Nawaz Sharif in party rallies to the Supreme Court to withdraw the verdict is the proof that he has lost his senses, Supreme Court had given full opportunity for defence but he could not produce even a piece of paper in his defence now with which face he says Supreme Court has not done justice with him, Bar Councils of the country should unite and take notice of N-League’s anti-judiciary campaign. #
