Blood of youth going for employment is on the head of rulers: Ch Parvez Elahi

If there was employment in the country then their families would not be in mourning today, we share your grief as ours, telephone to affected families of Gujrat

Lahore: 19-11-2017: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has expressed sorrow and regrets over massacre of the youth from Gujrat and other districts going in search of employment in Balochistan.

Talking to their bereaved families and with the media here today (Sunday), he said that equally shares the grief and sorrow of the affected families.

He said that these incidents are worst example of brutality and against our traditions and their blood is on the head of the rulers, had they provided employment opportunities in the country then their families would not be in mourning for those who were going to lit the lamps in their homes.

Expressing condolence and sympathies with the parents of the youth hailing from Gujrat telephonically, he said that their sorrow is our sorrow, such great loss is irreparable and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant solace and patience to them.

Responding to the questions from the media, Ch Parvez Elahi said until our rulers do not create maximum employment opportunities in the country, people will be forced to go abroad in search of employment through illegal means and in greed for better future will continue to be falling into the hands of the agents and becoming victims of different incidents.

Ch Parvez Elahi further said that there is grave need for effective and result-oriented action against networks of agents and human smugglers who in greed for commission befool the youth and play their lives so that such painful incidents do not occur. He said instead of merely verbally talking, it is very essential that maximum employment opportunities are created in the country and jobs for educated youth provided. #
