Lahore High Court and District Bar’s newly elected Presidents along with office bearers call on Ch Shujat Hussain and Parvez Elahi

Lawyers have important role in supremacy of justice system and provision of justice to common man, PML leaders

Lawyers’ office-bearers express gratitude, also attended luncheon reception

Lahore: 10-03-2018: Delegation of office-bearers headed by newly-elected Lahore High Court Bar President Anwarul Haq Punoo and President District Bar Lahore Muhammad Arshad called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence here today (Saturday).

MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, President Muslim League Lawyers Wing Alamgir advocate, Jahangir A. Jhoja and Ahmad Faran Khan were also present.

On this occasion, Ch Parvez Elahi hosted a luncheon reception in honour of the delegation which included Vice-President Noor Samand Khan, Secretary Hassan Iqbal Warraich, Finance Secretary Hafiz Allah Yar, Ch Muhammad Sarwar Manais, District Bar Lahore President Malik Muhammad Arshad, Shahid Dehar, Ismat Mahmud Bajwa, Aftab Iqbal Dhillon, Aamer Mahmud Chaudhry, Nadir Duggal, Owais Chohan, Imran Manzur Duggal. Faheem Shaukat, Ch Muhammad Ishtiaq Gauhar and Ch Razzaq.

Congratulating newly-elected office-bearers, Ch Shujat Hussain said that lawyers have great roe in supremacy of justice system and provision of justice to common man.

High Court Bar President Muhammad Anwarul Haq Punoo and District Ba President Muhammad Arshad expressed gratitude to the PML leaders.

Lawyers office-bearers said that during chief minister-ship of Ch Parvez Elahi, ideal steps were taken for lawyers community were taken like free treatment and operation besides their welfare and well-being and provision of justice to common man, annually funds were provided o all bar associations without any discrimination, establishment of Prosecution Service, establishing judicial complexes in districts, construction of new and modern building of Punjab Bar Council and appointments of legal advisors in all government departments like historical works. #
