Lahore: 05-07-2018: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi while addressing public meeting in Chak Saada has said that we had made state of the art Gujrat University now will Insha-Allah also establish engineering university, cancer hospital and medical college here, in 10 years Sharif family has destroyed the country and the province, with which face N-League candidates are coming to ask for votes.
He said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan has exposed corruption of Shehbaz Sharif and put that before the people, corruption is coming out of every project.
Ch Parvez Elahi announced that on being elected he will serve the people much more than earlier. He said that the chief Justice himself has said that Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital was kept closed only because it was made by Ch Parvez Elahi, now he will run it under his own supervision, on this In am grateful to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
While going on foot towards public meeting venue, an elderly woman stopped Ch Parvez Elahi on the way, kissed his forehead and lovingly placed her hand on his head and prayed “Gujrat naun terey verga puttar naeen mil sakda”.
Ch Parvez Elahi further said that his politics is only for welfare and well-being of the people, Shehbaz Sharif should tell anyone service like 1122 which he has established, Chak Saada road I had got constructed 10 years ago which has now broken and I will get it constructed again myself, N-League has always remained hostile towards farmers and this is the reason that during his tenure he has given farmers nothing but running from pillar to post.
He said that in 1971 Ch Zahoor Elahi was first to present bill against Qadianiyet, on coming into power I had got Rabwah name changed as Chenab Nagar, we are the people who die on Khatam-e-Nubawwat, we had established Seerat Academy, and Quran Complex which Shehbaz Sharif got locked, established 170 institutions for the special children, fixed five per cent quota in jobs for blind persons, we were providing eleven lakhs jobs every year, if we are successful then make Pardha Likha Punjab again, will make Punjab lush green, this is my promise to you.
He said that his projects were corruption free, all projects of Shehbaz Sharif tell tales of corruption, on being elected well work harder that previously, will put Pakistan and Punjab stand on their feet.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that people have awakened, they have become conscious about their fundamental rights, people are asking N-League to account for 10 years, this is the reason that N-League ticket holders consider it better to contest election as independent, all senior Muslim Leaguers have parted ways with Nawaz Sharif and now he is isolated.
On this occasion, Mian Imran Masood, Chairman Ch Azhar Warraich and Ch Ziaullah Warraich also addressed whereas Syed Sajjadul Hussain Shah, Ch Azhar Warraich (Saudi Arabia), Syed Tajamul Hussain Shah, Ch Allah Ditta, Ch Wajid Mahmud, Haji Seth Muzaffar Hussain, Master Iftikhar Ahmad, Ch Qamar Nawaz Warraich and PTI leader Kabber Chaudhry were seated on the stage.
Flags of Muslim League election symbol Tractor were displayed on both sides of the road from Zahoor Elahi House to Chak Sadaa, vehicles and motor cycles were decorated with stickers of photographs of Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi, Ch Parvez Elahi covered one kilometer distance on foot and listened to the problems of the people on the way, rose petals were showered on his caravan and he was profusely garlanded on the way, on his reaching the public meeting venue he was greeted by the people dancing on dhol tunes and chanting long live Ch Parvez Elahi slogans. #
