Nation should revive 6 September 1965 spirit: Ch Shujat Hussain, Parvez Elahi, Moonis Elahi

Shuhdas and Ghazis who offer sacrifices for the motherland are heroes of every nation, pledge be made to follow in their steps

Lahore: 05-09-2018: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have said that for combating the challenges confronting the country and the nation there is dire need for reviving 6 September 1965 like spirit.

In their messages on the Defence of Pakistan Day, they have said that district Gujrat has the honour that its three sons Major Akram, Major Aziz Bhatti and Major Shabbir Sharif have been bestowed with the Nishan-e-Haider, Shuhda who sacrifice their life for the motherland and Ghazis who do not withstand any sorrow, pain and problems are heroes of every nation, every Pakistani particularly the young ones should pledge to follow in their steps so that security and solidarity of this God-given state are safeguarded and evil designs of internal and external enemies should not be allowed to succeed in any circumstances.

They said that in the prevailing conditions there is dire need for celebrating today with renewed spirit, enthusiasm and determination so that besides safeguarding Pakistan the nation marches on speedily towards destinations of progress and prosperity.

They said that pious souls of Shuhdas are saying to us that only that country and the nation succeeds whose residents possess practical spirit of offering any great sacrifice for it. #
