Naseem Akhtar who has highlighted name of Pakistan and Gujrat should be conferred with President’s Award: Ch Parvez Elahi

Grateful to Saudi Government that one volume of this embroidered hand written Holy Quran has been placed in Masjid-e-Nabawi (ﷺ)

Lahore/Gujrat: 13-10-2018: Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi along with his wife and son Rasikh Elahi visited the residence of Naseem Akhtar who has embroidered hand written Holy Quran on cloth and heartily congratulated here on this great work and saw the Holy Quran also.

Talking to media afterwards, he said that he will meet President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi and recommend to him that President’s Pride of Performance Award should be conferred on Nassem Akhtar and also ask Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar to appreciate her.

He said that by rendering this unique work Naseem Akhtar has highlighted the name of Gujrat and Pakistan, I am also grateful to the Saudi Government which has duly appreciated the work of this daughter of Pakistan and placed a volume of it in the Masjid-e-Nabawi (ﷺ), I will also ask the ulema to appreciate her.

Thanking Ch Parvez Elahi and his family members on this occasion, Naseem Akhtar said that she is very happy today that serving Pakistan pride son of son of Gujrat has today come to our house, my only request to the government is this that to further promote this art of mine an institution be established, I have worked hard day and night for 32 years to complete this Holy Quran and this was the objective of my life, this Holy Quran comprises ten volumes and its one volume has been placed in the Masjid-e-Nabawi (ﷺ). #
