During party and ally leaders meetings complaints are normal, have very good relations with Ch Sarwar: Ch Parvez Elahi
In the meeting with Jahangir Tareen, Tariq Bashir Cheema put forth his complaint, Assembly members have the right to talk about their complaints in the meetings, talk with media
Lahore: 10-11-2018: Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi has said that he has old and very good relations with Governor Punjab Ch Sarwar, in any party and ally leaders meetings complaints are normal, I have talked to Ch Sarwar who said that Tariq Bashir Cheema is outspoken person and talks openly.
He said this while talking to the media at his residence here today (Saturday). On this occasion, Provincial Minerals Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir was also present.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that our alliance with Imran Khan and PTI is going on appreciably, during meeting with Jahangir Tareen while talking about the Senate election Federal Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema mentioned his old complaint about interference in his constituency and while sitting in home this complaint with our ally leader was not something unusual which was tried to make an issue, something said internally in the meeting should not be hyped like this because in the party meetings Assembly members talk out their complaints and problems openly which are solved by the party leadership also, if this is not then it effects the secret ballot, prior to the elections voters also complain to us.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that Governor Ch Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar both have been nominated by PTI Chairman and Prime Minister Imran Khan, we have very good relations with them, there are complaints and reservations in the parties and allies which are also duly sorted out and removed, we are fully supporting with good intention Prime Minister Imran Khan Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and will continue to do so in future as well.
Responding to a question, he said that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is doing very good work, he is being fully supported by our and PTI members. In reply to a question about Hamza Shehbaz, he said that we have to face the opposition jointly.
In reply to another question about today’s meeting, he said that there was dead silence in Punjab for 10 years, nobody even dared to talk in the ruling party meetings what to talk about spelling out complaints because if Shehbaz Sharif minded that then police used to reach the house of those who dared to differ but we have always welcome complaints and criticism with open heart and patience. #
