National solidarity and security of Pakistan is the most important, safeguarding rights of the minorities according to the saying of the Quaid responsibility of every Pakistan, messages of felicitations on Quaid-i-Azam Day and Christmas
Lahore: 24-12-2018: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi in their messages of felicitations on the Quaid-i-Azam Day and the Christmas have said that every Pakistani is duty bound to implement the dream visualized by Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah for turning this land into haven of peace and prosperity and an Islamic Welfare State and turning this dream of the Quaid-i-Azam the spirit of the Independence Movement is essential, Christians and other minorities are our brothers who have been given full protection and rights in the Constitution of Pakistan and safeguarding these rights is the responsibility of every Pakistani, Pakistan Muslim League in accordance with the teaching of Islam and the sayings of the Quaid-i-Azam will continue to stand by them in their moments of happiness and sorrow always like in the past.
They said in their messages that it is the foremost duty of every Pakistani to work for progress and prosperity with good intention secured under the inspiring leadership of the Quaid-i-Azam by offering great sacrifices by the mothers, sisters, daughters, youth, children and the elders, if Pakistan is there then we Pakistanis are also there and this country is guarantor for our safety, respect and prestige, we will have to differentiate between the friends and enemies of Pakistan, security and solidarity of Pakistan is the most important.
Paying tributes to the armed forces for their great sacrifices in this regard, they said all Pakistanis will have to struggle shoulder to shoulder together jointly for betterment of Pakistan and conditions of the common and poor man which include all minorities including the Christians.
Stressing on the maintenance of religious harmony, they expressed the hope that the Christian brothers, for whom taking special measures for well-being and welfare is part of the manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League and because of this during tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi in the Punjab besides returning of the missionary institutions, dual vote right, doubling of quota in jobs, record development funds were also provided, on the auspicious occasion of the Christmas will offer special prayers will offer special prayers for security and solidarity of Pakistan. #
