Indian atrocities and suppression on Kashmir has crossed all limits, , Pakistan Muslim League welcomes Kashmir Conference in British Parliament, statements of Norwegian PM and Secretary General UN
Lahore: 04-02-2019: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi have expressed complete solidarity with Kashmiris and fully supported their struggle for right of self-determination and called upon the international community should help in immediate and durable solution of this issue by acknowledging 71 years long struggle of people of occupied Kashmir, for blocking the way of Indian atrocities and high-handedness on them during this long period and for compensating for ignoring the fundamental rights of Kashmiris.
PML leaders in their messages of Kashmir Solidarity Day have said that their party has always kept Kashmir issue uppermost and raised voice for their rights and against atrocities on them, Ch Shujat Hussain during his special visit to India in the past had also met Kashmiri leaders.
Condemning in the strongest possible words Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, increase in the Indian aggressive activities on the Line of Control (LoC) and in recent days massive arrests of Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders, they said it seems that the world has started paying attention to Kashmir issue seriously. They said that we welcome Kashmir Conference in the British Parliament whereas Norwegian Prime Minister has also offered mediation and United Nations Secretary General has also stressed on solution of Kashmir issue.
PML leaders further said that the Kashmiri people want implementation of Indian promises made in the UNO and for this their struggle and sacrifices are accelerating, great sacrifices offered by Kashmiris for securing their established birth rights of self-determination will not go waste, for completion of the sub-continent partition agenda Pakistan Muslim League will continue to support them.
They said that the Indian security forces instead of giving them right of self-determination are using every tactic of atrocities and oppression in occupied Kashmir, fundamental human rights are being flagrantly violated, all sorts of suppression and oppression on women, children and elders have crossed all limits so that the voice of Kashmiri people could be suppressed but they will not rest till they secure freedom out of Indian shackles.
They said that not only durable close relations between India and Pakistan but also peace in the region hinges on justifiable and peaceful solution of this long lingering dispute, all democratic and peace loving people throughout the world should forcefully be demanding withdrawal of Indian forces from there to save the people of occupied Kashmir from suppression and atrocities. #
