Anti-Islam, Pakistan and army results of empowering provinces with syllabus making have started coming to the fore: Ch Shujat Hussain

Chapters like Eid Milad-un-Nabi (), Shaheed-e-Karaba, Nishan-e-Haider and sayings of the Quaid-i-Azam have been dropped and replaced by eham tehwar, Khoon Ka Badla, Mausam anmd Rail Kahani etc in Class 8 book

At the time of 18th Amerndment I had emphasized on retention of this power with the Federation otherwise any chief minister will put his photograph instead of the Quaid-i-Azam

Lahore: 04-07-2019: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has said that the anti-Islam, Pakistan and army results of empowering each province for making academic syllabus instead of the Federation under 18th Amendment have started coming to the fore to such extent that in Urdu book for Class 8 which is being distributed free by the government for 2019-20 in the Punjab, important chapters like Eid Milad-un-Nabi (ﷺ), Shaheed-e-Karbala, Hazrat Bilal, Sayings of the Quaid-i-Azam, Nishan-e-Haider and women’s role in Pakistan which were there in the old syllabus and replaced under the present syllabus by chapters like Pakistan Key Chand Eham Tehwar, Khoon Ka Badla, Shehri Difaa (Civil Defence), Hockey, Pakistan Key Mausam, Adab Ki Ahmiyat, Tafreeh Ki Ahmiyat and Rail Kahani chapters.

Ch Shujat Hussain said in a statement issued here today (Thursday) that at the time of 18th Amendment while expressing serious reservations on this issue I had said by transferring responsibility of making academic syllabus to the province intolerable losses would surface on the national future, matters will go out of control, every government will keep changing syllabus according to its ideology to the extent if a chief minister of any province want he can put his own photograph in place of the Quaid-i-Azam and law cannot stop him, now it is proving now that the forces inimical to the country under the international conspiracy to weaken the Armed Forces of Pakistan want to hide the sacrifices of the armed forces from the future generations and weaken the Ideology of Pakistan by eliminating golden personalities and events of Islamic history from academic books.

He said that from other provinces reports were pouring in from other provinces right from the start about such changes of own likings but report about such regrettable change from the Punjab is a matter of grave concern.

He said that demand of the government even today that the power for making the syllabus should be with the Federation after this such deplorable conspiracies will be buried. He demanded that book with such changes should immediately be destroyed.

Expressing regrets Ch Shujat Hussain said that subedaroon (those at the helm of affairs in the province) have not attached any importance to this deplorable conspiracy that in the said book chapter of Nish-e-Haider has been completely eliminated so that unforgettable chapter of sacrifices by the Armed Forces of Pakistan for our national security be hidden from the eyes of future generations whereas Allama Iqbal’s popular Dua “Ya Rab Dil-e-Muslim Ko Woh Zinda Tamana Dey” which was added after creation of Pakistan has now been removed whereas chapter of Shaheed-e-Karbala about the golden chapter of Islamic history and the greatest example of sacrifice in the history of the world has also been eliminated, in place of important events like Role of Women in Pakistan Movement, essays like Pakistan Key Mausam, Tafreeh Ki Ahmiyat like been included. #
