Lahore/Gujrat: 07-07-2019: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has laid the foundation stone of Ch Sajjad Haider Memorial Eye Hospital under auspices of Chef International in Gujrat today (Sunday).

On this occasion, acting Governor Punjab Ch Parvez Elahi, Ch Wajahat Hussain, Moonis Elahi, Chairman Chef International Professor Dr Dawood Khan, Muhammad Suhail Ayyaz, Ahmad Jawwad, Ch Tayyab Hussain, DPO Syed Ali Mohsin Kazmi, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Jamil, Mian Imran Masood, Ch Ejaz, Asghar Tail Wala and Hussain Asghar were among those present.

Addressing the ceremony, Ch Parvez Elahi said that such a welfare project was direly need for the area particularly there is need for more work in eyes department.

He said that Imran Khan feels pain for the poor, his and ours thinking is the same, progress of Pakistan and the people is our vision, Pakistan will make headway only by implementing it, business community should cooperate in the vision of Imran Khan, in the meeting with Chairman FBR Shabbar Zaidi we discussed solution of problems faced by the business and he has assured that the government will sympathetically consider their demands, development of Pakistan is the progress of all of us.

Ch Parvez Elahi further said that Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif had destroyed the whole country and Punjab, what else more they want now, after rendering national economy bankrupt they are now wailing over their “mazloomiyet”, they did not let Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital become functional intentionally, precious lives were lost during this period, Shehbaz Sharif is responsible for that, this is the reason that cries of those who expired and curses of thir ancestors today are chasing Shehbaz Sharif.

He said as the Chief Minister I had started Surgical Unit in the Mayo Hospital but owing to their adamancy they also tried to close it down, besides greatly damaging health sector, Shehbaz Sharif had destroyed all sectors of the development of the country including education and agriculture, today people asking them to account for all this, as the Chief Minister I had started development of education, health and agriculture sectors, provision of employment and launched projects for welfare and well-being of the masses but Shehbaz Sharif out of his enmity towards the people had turned prosperous province under debt.

He said that for starting Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital on war footing basis, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has assured to release required funds.

He said that I appeal to the people to strengthen the vision of Imran Khan and ours because our objective is only and only to provide basic facilities to the people and focus of our politics is also betterment of common and poor man. #
