Tariq Bashir Cheema resolution unanimously in National Assembly
Om the resolution presented by PML member it has also been demanded immediate legislation and confiscation of sacrilegious books
Islamabad/Lahore (06-01-2020) National Assembly has unanimously adopted a resolution moved by Pakistan Muslim League(PML)’s Federal Minister for Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema against sacrilegious material in Islamabad today(Monday).
According to the resolution this House reiterates that Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is last Prophet of Almighty Allah, our everything is sacrificed on the Hurmat of our beloved Prophet’s (ﷺ) sacred personality, all Prophets, Sahaba Karam, Ummahatul Momineen and Ahle Bait (رضوان اللہ اجمعین) and this House emphatically condemns any sacrilegious material import by international and private sector in Pakistan.
It has further stated in the resolution that said material is highly sacrilegious because of Muslims sentiments are being immensely hurt. In the resolution demanding immediate ban on import, publication and sale of all such material in Pakistan it has further said that any national and international religious book only after with the permission and sanad be published, distributed and sold in market of Pakistan and uploaded on any mass media, online, social media, in this regard immediate legislation should be done and said books should be confiscated forthwith.
It has been further stated in the resolution that in this connection a Special Committee be constituted which should probe the matters and submit the report. #
