Health system should be such doctors do not go abroad and instead return like our tenure: Ch Parvez Elahi

Government responsibility to provide basic health facilities to the people, young doctors, nurses and para-medical staff problems should be solved, talk with delegation

Lahore: 07-02-2020: Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi has said that health system should be such that the doctors do not go out of Pakistan instead return like our tenure.

He said this while talking to a delegation of young doctors, nurses and para-medical staff office-bearers which called on him under leadership of Grand Health Alliance Punjab President Suleman Habib Chaudhry at his residence here today (Friday).

Ch Parvez Elahi said that to provide health facilities to the people is the responsibility of the government, young doctors, nurses and para-medical staff problems should be solved and they should also serve the patents dedicatedly and devotedly.

Delegation included Dr Nadir Butt President Y. D. A. , Malik Munir Ahmad President Punjab Para-Medical Staff, Sh Mohammad Nusrat, Dr Jaffer Naqvi, Dr Mudassar Mirza, Dr Mehmoodul Hassan, Dr Hasnain Ahmad, Dr Saud Afzal, Dr Usman, Dr Ehtesham, Dr Naqqash, Dr Abdul Rehman, Staff Nurse Zahida, Shabana, Sobia, Lubna Yasmin, Farzana Yasmin, Shamshad Niazi, Neelum Shehzadi, Shazia Majeed, Fakhra Ilyas and Madam Razia among others.

 Grand Health Alliance Punjab President apprised the Speaker in detail about their problems and demands.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that it is the work of the government to remove deficiencies in all sectors including health. He said it a regrettable matter that the young doctors are giving preference to jobs abroad because they that are concerned about their future.

He further said that effective measures are needed for providing maximum possible health facilities to the patients in the hospitals, besides provision of best health care facilities to the patients going to the hospitals they should also be looked after well, there ought not three patients lying on one bed, doctors, nurses and para-medical staff be on strike every other day for their problems and demands, for removing deficiencies of the health system immediate and effective steps will have to be taken. #
