People worried about Corona Virus dangers are waiting for practical government measures: Moonis Elahi

Diagnostic arrangements in government hospitals not enough, people forced to pay thousands of rupees to private laboratories as test fee

Lahore (16-03-2020) Pakistan Muslim League (PML) central leader and MNA Moonis Elahi has said that people worried about Corona Virus dangers are waiting for practical measures and not only government statements.

In his message issued here today (Monday), he has said that preparation of government hospitals for tackling with this contagious disease is not enough for time being, and still essential measures have not been taken for diagnosing this virus, people are forced to pay thousands of rupees to private laboratories for test, this is out of reach of ordinary and poor man that he should spent such huge amount for diagnosing the disease whereas he is already worried about skies high price hike.

He said that the responsible of health should concentrate of their task within the country instead of sending protective masks abroad and take immediate and effective measures in government hospitals and taking the owners of private laboratories and hospitals for diagnosing this disease whereas it is also essential to make protective measures result oriented. #
