Lahore: 24-03-2020: Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi has said that prisoners are being released in view of Corona Virus because there is apprehension about prisoners being hit by it.

Ch Parvez Elahi held telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmud Qureshi and asked him to accelerate efforts for release of daughter of the nation Aafiya Siddiqui.

Shah Mahmud Qureshi assured Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi that he will talk to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and US officials in this regard. #
