The Minerals Department has issued licenses to eight new factories

Lahore (09-12-2020) With the special efforts of Pakistan Muslim League’s Provincial Minister for Minerals Hafiz Ammar Yasir, the Department of Minerals has issued licenses to eight new companies to set up cement factories in Punjab for a major investment of Rs 300 billion in the cement sector.

Talking on the occasion Hafiz Ammar Yasir said that like Pakistan Muslim League’s tenure in Punjab we played an important role in the development of Punjab and is still advancing the vision of the party leadership. He said under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the province is moving towards development, a cement factory has an investment of about Rs 35 billion. Minerals Minister further said that the previous government’s ban on setting up cement factories has been lifted and the department has been directed to provide all possible facilities to more companies interested in investing.

Companies licensed to set up cement factories include Al-Karam Textile Pvt. Ltd., Bestway, Fatima Group of Companies, Pioneer, DW and others. #
