If Local Govt Bill is passed by consensus, it will have positive effects: Ch Parvez Elahi

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood meets Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi and discusses in detail the political and economic situation in the country, the coalition government and the current Local Govt Bill.

Larger committee has been formed on Local Government Bill, PPP, PML-N and all parliamentary parties are included. Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed is playing his full role on Local Government Bill.

Lahore: 28-12-2021: Federal Minister for Education and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Punjab Shafqat Mahmood called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the Assembly Chamber. The political and economic situation of the country, the coalition government and the current Local Government Bill were discussed in detail during the meeting. Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi also congratulated Shafqat Mahmood on becoming President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central Punjab.

Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi said that if the Local Government Bill is passed by consensus then it will have positive effects. Larger committee has been formed on Local Government Bill, PPP, PML-N and all parliamentary parties are included. Provincial Minister Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed is playing a full role in the Local Government Bill. He further said that education is the guarantor of development of any nation or society, rich and poor should get equal and quality education.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said that with your guidance and full cooperation we will continue the journey of public service.

Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti and DG Parliamentary Affairs Inayatullah Lak were also present on the occasion. #
