Lahore: 25-01-2023: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that no revenge action was taken against any political worker during our five-and-a-half-month tenure, a baseless case was filed against senior politicians like Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain and his son Musa Elahi which is condemnable.
He said that the leadership of PML-N believes in the politics of revenge, they have not learned anything even from the tragedy of Model Town, whenever Sharif comes to power, people like Rana Sanaullah and Ataullah Tarar start flapping like chicks. The history of the Sharifs is full of such acts of revenge against their opponents.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that the way the Punjab Police tortured the members of the Punjab Assembly inside the Punjab Assembly House on April 16 is unprecedented in the world. We will not forget, nor have we forgotten the events of April 16 and May 25. He further said that the dark night of Sharif’s oppression is due to Election Commission, there is only two and a half months left of this ‘child government’, then all their illegal actions will be accounted for. #
